I am not a yellow gold fan, but here I must say that the combo with this black dial is uber fine. The closest to the original. And the one which has the most retro look among the 4 versions.

The j looks better and better to me as the years pass. I owned the r many years ago but it proved a bit too large for me. These days, I enjoy the 5070 vicariously through Nico's pics of his g.
I think it would be too big for my wrist.
