I found the production period of the various metals to be rather interesting : G - 6yrs, R - 4yrs, J - 3yrs, P - 1yr. And yet R rarely comes out for auction.
Just a comment abt the size : it wears abt the same size as a 1st gen datograph, due to the thick stepped bezel and curved lugs. Lug to lug it’s only ~ 48mm, and I find it’s very wearable for my wrist size

The j looks better and better to me as the years pass. I owned the r many years ago but it proved a bit too large for me. These days, I enjoy the 5070 vicariously through Nico's pics of his g.
I think it would be too big for my wrist.
