I have a bit similar thoughts.
The whole AR project is incredible. Think about 5170. Then add there all the parts of 5450, 5550 and 5650 improving the accuracy, reducing the need of servicing and lubrication and turning the watch basically antimagnetic. Then use the travel time mechanism for the chronograph.
Result: an extremely accurate watch with the softest chronograph on the market plus a much slimmer watch. Probably below 10 mm. Fantastic opportunities for Patek!

5650 could be the one... just fits the bill and the complication is genuinely the most useful one i can think of on a wristwatch.
