for not having sold a single piece of any brand! This I have never heard of before and I am in awe of your self discipline as I am of your available funds! 
It is for the reasons above that although I am a Malaysian and will be retiring to Malaysia in one week's time, I prefer to buy all my watches from Europe and especially from the UK because markets in the Far East are all about profiteering and discounts rather than any passion or knowledge of the product sold. For me personally, the buying experience is key.

So your name comes up and then they try to mark it up 30-40-50 percent? I guess it's jealousy of the aftermarket markup (that THEY are supposed to control) but not a way to treat a regular customer.

If you'rea regular loyal customer it's pretty crazy to profiteer like this. At 40% margin a dealer makes over 27k on 5131. I understand suppLy and demand and the profit motive but that other dealer will never see me again unless it's something I can't get...

If my AD marked the price like this I would go ballistic. I am not sure what PP policy is, but I can't imagine them liking this type of action.
I doubt
if any manufacturer will like this type of action but I would have thought that they would have better control over the ADs. Perhaps when I return to Malaysia I should apply to become a Patek AD!
