I would certainly not say anything bad about 5170 or 5270
The only thing I am saying is I could possibly understand one who does not own yet any PP chrono or chrono PC to consider buying these (even if I would personally prefer considering a 5070G and/or a 5970 in any metal for pure aesthetic reasons) but if I would be lucky enough to own the two ones that you have, then I would look at no other one because I consider 5170 and 5270 redundant at a lower level than yours.
Instead I could possibly consider a 5370P (black dial), a 5950, 3974P, or a 5016 these could be complementary but not redundant imho. But that's only me, I hope no offense my friend
