I'm personally not crazy about chasing after vintage watches... I feel, it should be vintage within your own family. Although I definitely understand the appeal! And if a perfect example landed in my lap, I'd consider buying it. I also realize I don't know enough about these kinds of vintage watches and I think there are a lot of cheats out there. Like the art and wine industry, there are a lot of new moneyed people coming into watch collecting and that's made it a rampant place for the bad elements to get in and take advantage. So I just try to buy new. Plenty of new products out there. Oh look! A Breguet!

I'm hardly ever "uncomfortable" with anything (my way to keep happy and cool....and it works! :-)), so this includes tropical dials.... BUT, aren't those usually called the dials that develop some patina?? This would seem impossible for an enamel dial..
In any event, definitions and categories aside, those three dials are *incredibly* attractive, and so is the factory bracelet on your 2526.....this looks like another truly exquisite trio of your never-ending Calatrava collection! Enjoy!
