Is the nickname "tropical" appropriate for these attractive enamel-dial models?

These two have enamel dials, but the thickness of the case is slightly different due to the difference in automatic movements. 2526 is 12-600, 3428 is a little thinner later 27-460
There may be exceptions, but it is said that there is no dimple type index for 3428
The model in the middle is a 2526j bracelet type, and the dimples stand out.
There is a theory that this naming took into consideration the high temperature and strong sunlight of South America, but is the name ”tropical" really appropriate?

Even though I have the Freccero in Uruguay, I am not 100% sure what you mean by tropical, other than that they could withstand the climate. ...
I'm hardly ever "uncomfortable" with anything (my way to keep happy and cool....and it works! :-)), so this includes tropical dials.... BUT, aren't those usually called the dials that develop some patina?? This would seem impossible for an enamel dial..
In any event, definitions and categories aside, those three dials are *incredibly* attractive, and so is the factory bracelet on your 2526.....this looks like another truly exquisite trio of your never-ending Calatrava collection! Enjoy!
