Sounds like his next article.. you’re probably right it’s not aimed at us traditionalists but those young Richard Mille type crowd who wants a brand name and big watch on their wrist and that’s pretty much it. Something the shape of an g shock with the all important brand name splashed on it and some blue nautilus style maybe helps.. We will see later on but not a line I’ll be interested in! Still hoping for a new calatrava along the lines of a 5196 replacement. A 570 style calatrava would be nice or a new sector dial, breguet numerals.. let’s hope there’s still some old timers working there who remember the old designs..

Nobody with a nanogram of common sense might believe that the auction's "performance" was not staged. Patek is a successful company that is advertising, promoting and selling its new watch, no need to play those games (flippers are more than enough).
Why is it a “leak” when Patek put an advertisement in a magazine?
The advertisement appears legit, unlikely to be a hoax. The new model needs a name with 3 syllables to match Aqunaut, Nautilaus but Patek could have tried bit harder.

He's probably going to say, "I look a lot better than Lewis Hamilton!" I'd say the model looks nicer than the watch, I really don't like the dial layout of this watch and I feel the model looks like a model. Of course, things may change in person.
I would be interested in seeing the new model (this one or whatever is the actual model) in person before passing judgement.
