Patek Philippe

Just be patient...

Gauss bell distribution is applicable to watchmaking as well; there will be watches outside the specification despite the quality checks done.

In my case I sent my Cartier (under guarantee) for servicing because the chronograph hand didn't jump to 0. I received it after 4 months but when I tried to set the time I realised that the winding stem was unfastened so that I had to send it again. More than seven months the watch was away. Cartier apologised, they admitted it was their fault.
What I did? I bought another Cartier in the meantime.
You should be worried only if the respective watchmaker doesn't take the responsibility to fix it.
