You are experienced and knowledgeable watch collector in the World ...you know watches literally inside and out and all the history ...but you ask for advice on watch A and B.
Watch A sings to you watch B is something that based on your knowledge and experience you consider but it actually doesn't sing to you.
You ask question ...you got answers...let us say someone says that watch B is superior and better choice cos it has in house balance spring...so you buy B...you even pay more for B..but once home ..alone..you strap it on and look at pictures of watch A cos it sings to you....was advice helpful? Was question meaningless?...also if you have such deep knowledge why ask...either you don't have it or you don't know what you wanna...just my 2 HRK

On a different note, a 46mm time only version of Ref 2512 sold at Sotheby's NY in December of 2012. Amazing, amazing watch in every way. It was an extreme pleasure to strap it on. Someone (not me) acquired an extraordinary watch.
