Many thanks, I was just alerted to this by some fellow moderators today --- and I'm in full agreement with your sentiment! ;-)) Ref. 5177G-028 "School of Fish" is definitely in the top 5 (or higher! :-) of my personal collection...
....and arguably, also extremely high when it comes to the Brand's production in general! 
Here are a couple of shots for you, even though like for any other artwork, admiring these pieces "in the metal," like they say, always presents us with a more complete experience:
While it's never easy to choose among Rare Handcrafts, I guess it's well known that for personal reasons my favorite piece EVER is the so-called Patek "Boccadasse," representing my favorite neighborhood of my hometown of Genova, Italy... Finally, while we are on topic, all four "main" Rare Handcrafts are represented in this family (enamel, wood marquetry, miniature painting, and hand engraving)..... It's a collection that as a Patek and Rare Handcraft lover (and "student" ) took me quite a few years to build. I finally "completed" it in 2021 with the hand-engraved 5088/100P, another HUGE favorite of mine!

Mike, thank you for your very kind words. A lot of people are put off by the engraved bezel, the fact that “Patek” is not on the dial
and the unusual font. I actually like all these factors as it makes the 5131 series different from the normal Patek qualities. Of course, the 5231 abandoned this “uniqueness” and went back to the traditional ways.

5131G and P were done by AP and team.
They are not involved in the 5231 series as of now. 5131J was done by a mother and son team. 5131R and 5231J are likely down by the same people because the enamel dials look the same. Are you looking to get some ? 😃
Yes, it's one of my dream pieces. Have to work myself up to this level. I just looked at the 5131G yesterday again in the pre-owned section of my AD
it was very tough to put it back even though I definitely would get the J version and thanks for the info - where can I find more infos on who did them? I assume it's not noted on the certificate of the watch who painted the dial right ?
Certificate does not state the enameler.
Try goggling 5131 and 5231 enamel dials to see if you could get more information. Good luck and keep us updated.

watch is the reason I found watchprosite in the first place - unfortunately I only own the swatch version of your watch I think it's an absolutely amazing piece - did you get it allocated from patek or did you buy in the secondary market ?

+1! This is Ref. 5177G-023, that we announced in 2021 along with my "School of Fish," and that was allocated to V., one of the distinguished collectors of this forum.
The whole 5177 line (a new Calatrava with a hobnail bezel) is especially dear to me, and I cannot believe it's been in production for already five years! (It was introduced in 2018, and so far has only been used for some very special, out-of-catalog Rare ...
At first I thought the ref 5177 is based on the 6119 but it's a different
size and movement - I also enjoy the clous de paris pattern on the bezel - works wonderful with the enamel dials.
The two references are in a sense related, and in a very significant way -- this is an excellent point! Hobnail bezels are firmly rooted in the history and tradition of the Calatrava line, which is a big reason why I love them on my Rare Handcrafts...
Instances of a hobnail bezel on Calatrava references go as far back as year 1934 (!), with Ref. 96 D....this was only a couple years after a certain visionary Genevan family, now at its fourth generation, assumed the leadership of the Brand! Arguably, hob...
Wood marquetry is indeed in a category of its own, due both to the incredible technical ability required and its *exceedingly* rare production... Suffice it to say that only one artist (J. B.) is authorized to produce these dials for Patek! ;-)
