Nautilus is a good choice
I think a men's Nautilus such as the 5711 1a in stainless steel is a good choice. If you are willing to consider a Daytona, then try the 5980 1a chrono. Also, a yellow gold vintage Nautilus such as the 3800 (35mm) often show up in auctions at a reasonable cost. The 3700 which is larger diameter (41mm) is in higher demand so it is priced accordingly.
I have doubts about the 5205 on a female wrist but a Calatrava would certainly look elegant.

I agree with you. 5127 looks big on my wrist n for classic elegance I should choose a smaller calatrava. I guess the 5205 Would make a bold statement on my wrist. Both pieces are very different.
