I have owned the golden elipse blue dial in white gold for ten years now and have always loved it. People would have laughed at me for being old fashioned. I truly think that it is a very unique watch, a class of its own. Classy, understated. Thanks again...

The Ellipse is not my cup of tea, even if the platinum one, with the blue dial, is nice. It just doesn't sing to me. But your post, yes! This is certainly the curious shape of the case which doesn't attract me, but as always a Live Experience is necessary... 

I like the Ellipse very much. In my mind it is one of the best formal dress watches out there, perfect for black tie, unless you are James Bond, then you wear Omega or Rolex. - SJX

Can this blue dial be found in any other Patek model?

I really appreciate this new piece, more so with the fact that it is crafted in my most favourite metal! The big BUT for me though comes with the fact that this houses an automatic movement, something that I wont do! With my recent purchase of my very 1st... 

to find out if it is an automatic is to ask your mother if she had to wind them daily. LOL Or, you may gently swirl it around a few times and set it down. if it is an automatic, it will run on its own without manually winding. If it has a petite second ha... 

for the report. Love the blue gold sunburst dial against the platinum. Very clean and simple. I like the vintage/nostalgic look of the Eclipse but the one thing that it doesn't have for me is, a Sweep Second Hand. The box, on the other hand, very cool. Lo...
