The 5940 looks like a better design - just look at the lovely minute markers compared to the fussy ones on the 5020. Also, the shape of the case is beautiful on the 5940 whereas it is more squarish on the 5020. The Breguet hands are a nice touch on the 5020 admittedly. The fact that the 5940G-001 was only in production from 2014-2016, it could very well be the next iconic watch!

The dial on this one is perfect and maintains the symmetry and proportion that the 3940 did so well. The varying sized numbers on the 5140 ruined it for me. If I buy another perpetual it will have to be this one. Looks fantastic in the white gold!

...the toughest part would be which metal to choose. It would be nice to see black hands, or even blued, for some of the subdials. Either way, love the case and the numerals. A classic beauty. m
