The 5970 has such great balance....it is such an elegant watch. If i was at a crucial business meeting (which I never am), and wanted a classy watch to wear with my suit, then I'd choose a vintage Rolex (LoL)....but in the absence of the Rolly, I'd choose the 5970.
The 5070 is....by far....the ugliest watch here. It is like a gangly teenager with bits that are too big, bits that are too small.... and that combo of platinum with blue-steel dial....well....its just absurd really.... and the coolest watch Patek have made in years in my view. When a watch has faults that make it more attractive, then that is special.
The 5270 is a beauty, but in my view gets bronze medal against these other titans.
The thing about the 5070P is that the best way to wear it is in jeans and casual shirt. Its that kind of incongruity that meshes with the nature of the watch. It is not a dress watch....that is trying to hard. It is also the sort of watch that i would want to wear if i was going out to Pizza Express with my family. Its the closest thing Patek have to a PN.

to me, the 5070 is the clear winner in terms of coolness.
And the 5970 G is terms of elegance. There is something in between the 5070 P and the 5970 G: The 5970 P. I would have hard time to decide which of the two " P " I prefer. If only the 5270 didn't have these 2 small portholes... Best, and thanks for the ph...

The 5270 just does not have the balance of classical Patek.... you want to love it, but... you have to be a Patek diehard I think to love it. Thank you Gary for stunning, incredible photos. And that photo of you, stunned from receiving your Dufour, really...
No doubt it will find its fans... But I am more attracted to the 5970P.

Especially for the wristshots, they give the best impression you can have of a watch imho. I didn't have the luck to try the 5270 but I remeber quite well the 5970G and the 5070P. At first for me the 5070 even with all his "mistakes" is the best of three....

5070p wins for me in terms of overall wearability. 5970 in terms of classic look. 5270 face is still a tad off centered for me but that movement is spectacular.
