I can imagine that. But I had the 5960P-016, the best 5960 for me. Gone now to a better home.
I like all 5960 and this black dial is no exception
Steel always appeals to the pretend engineer in me. And having the bracelet adds flexibility. But the white dial version (with its unique black dial furniture) would be my first choice.
