Patek Service Question
I sent a Patek for service to Patek NYC through my local Patek AD. I just received a text message that my watch will be ready for pick up in 1 week. I was told by the Patek AD that when they complete their “in-house” quality control of the watch they will contact me for pick up.
I texted back that I didn’t want an “in-house” quality control because I wanted the watch back sealed from Patek. They replied that is not possible. I am not “concerned” that the watch was serviced by someone else because this is an official large Patek AD and I’m sure the proper paperwork will be provided. However, is this policy of opening the seal from Patek common for AD’s?
