Some bad actors may be using the service sleeve and then using them on new watches and claiming those new watches are sealed. That's another hypothetical.

I knew that was true for new Patek watches, but I wasn't aware that it's true for serviced watches. Or perhaps that's just Tourneau Bucherer's policy. If so, it's disappointing... John

If this AD insists it will not return the watch to you with an intact seal why don't you demand that they still give you the broken seal and a statement as to what they actually did in this inspection and when it was done. Not a perfect solution if you in... 

This is in their website videos too. I think your AD means PP when the text says “They” but I can only guess since this is your sentence. Not sure but maybe things changed now vs when mine was sent.

via insured shipping to Stern or dropped off in person when I live there. I’d give Stern a call as some of the others suggested.
