I am a regular at this particular French Bistro. Honestly, if i have told Clinton to stop pestering people once, I must have done it a hundred times. The guy just doesn't respect privacy.
Anyway, i was in this bistro once before when none other than the Pope popped in. Not a lot of people know this, but he is really partial to Coq au Vin. What was really surprising was that he had Pamela Anderson on his arm. Now, i was shocked because normally he goes for the red-heads. Still, what was also quite a surprise was that Pammy was sporting a 5130P. Again, i was surprised but I guess a lot of women like men's watches. OK, she had had teh strap changed to pink, but that blue-dial/pink strap combo really worked.
She noticed that I was also wearing a 5130P so came up to my table rather boldly and offered to buy me dinner. Again, i was shocked. I mean, she had walked in with the Pope. Pretty rude to swap so quickly. Besides, I was already with Miss Johansson and her sister, so had to turn Pammy down.
This whole set of events was almost the weirdest thing that happened to me on Pateks. But not as weird as teh time that the Swedish women's volleyball team asked me to join them in the jacuzzi...but thats another story.

This happens to me too
but I don't get angry at all. Instead, I'd praise how lucky they are to own their "beautiful" Rolexes. I just don't want to hurt their feelings.

All most none of my watches ever get noticed
except for my Urwerk. That gets noticed by everyone and they all want to know if its the latest kenneth cole, for fossil. I normally just say yes.

I have gotten two compliments EVER on a watch. One--a busboy liked my TAG, about ten years ago. And two... I actually can't remember, but I know it happened. No one ever notices watches, ever... and if they do, I think it is outside of their ideas of 'rea...

Agree with you - I almost got robbed when I wore my gold Rolex - got tailed by 3 youngsters. Had to enlist the help of a friend with the physique of Hulk Hogan to escort me back to my car. Nobody looked at me when I wore my PP 3940.
