I love the green for 5930….we now have blue, red and green….P probably means a discontinuation next

I'm assuming this new iteration (green, which is the color of the year, plus Platinum) will be more successful than the earlier G version...but I'll be interested to see the market's reaction for it, it's indeed never been a big favorite so far! ;-)

The G already wears strangely due to it’s hight / dial ratio…in P will be a beast..look forward to seeing it

It certainly sounds like a "wilder" idea for Patek's marketing than it would for other brands, but not necessarily a bad one in my view....and I'll save your prediction since I don't knw the answer yet! ;-))

A pity they chose green. Too much green, for me. It is too trendy for a piece which aspires to be a classic. Especially in platinum!

Yes, but they could have chosen a grey or a black color, rather than a trendy color. In black or grey I would have probably be in...

Yes, I don't think I have other pictures of the 5905 clasp, but it's mentioned as "fold-over" so I assume it closes similarly to the 5167:

Thanks Reuven, in full agreement -- a corollary to the SS choice was indeed a significant decrease in MSRP ($87,530 for the P version, $70,380 for the R, and $59,140 for the /1A ;-) Cheers.

The 5204 is a grail watch, but Out of reach for me. The 5905 is very nice, too.

SS was a very welcome surprise for this reference, hopefully it will be available soon (I also haven’t tried on any of these models yet)👍
