it is not the timepiece but the message given by PP imho...
two years of innovation to have the same 31mm dia movement with impropotional case size between Nautilus & Cubitus - that is not innovation from PP stature.
one can be convinced to buy the timepiece, which is definitely individual taste but saying this is the innovation of the year...sorry that is utter ignorance IMHO.
I don't think it is flock behaviour or mentality, it is just reality. Just because few think it is good like Mr. Sterns message, it doesn't become right.
not least, collectors react because it is Patek. Not every brand has such feedback or reaction when it is done well or not so well.
I do believe Cubitus is not a bad watch, but I personally would have expected it from other brands not PP.
End of the day, we all collect what we like - so the rections are just opinions.

I actually did get a chance to try on a Cubitus the other day. It was not so bad in the metal! A nice watch, not an abomination like I'd thought from pictures, but still very very clearly a lesser watch than the 5711.

Both are cool

steel sports watches. I’m sure the Cubitus will have its moment too in the future. I think I’d get the Cubitus now, its design looks more modern.

I have the 5711 but I sometimes dream of exchanging it for the 3700. The mother.

Saw the Cubitus in person last month, and was taken aback by how terrible I thought it was. It’s ENORMOUS. I would love to own and wear a 5811; a Cubitus I would not add to my collection, even as a gift.

5711 is legendary.

both ! I tried all three Cubitus and, although large for my wrist, they felt and looked good in the metal ! Have you had they on your wrist ?
