Seeking Advice on Patek Philippe 3445 – Condition / Originality Check
hello everyone,
New to this forum, to Patek and to vintage watches. Three strikes?
I’m considering purchasing my first, and likely only, Calatrava. Love the mid-century look and am specifically enamoured with Ref. 3445 (circa 1966) and would really appreciate your expertise before making a decision.
Below are the photos from the listing, along with the link. I’d love your input on:
- Dial originality (any signs of refinish?)
- Case condition (polishing, hallmarks, lugs)
- Hands/date wheel correctness for this reference
- Whether the price seems fair for today’s market
- Overall impressions of this watch?

to not have scratches which means it has been polished. Best of luck in hunting down this lovely reference and we look forward to seeing wrist shots hopefully !

A wonderful group of people. I've seen this watch in new old stock. These lugs have been polished for sure, the dial I'd have to see in person. A tell tale sign would be the minute markers around the periphery. If they aren't uniform, there's your answer....
