Patek Philippe

should have been in steel

I have to confess, the first pictures I got before it was announced at Basel this year I thought it was a joke. This was NOT a Patek. A few days later when it was indeed showed at Basel I still was confused. But that changed. Didn't take too long before I really started to like it. It is not my favorite Patek and it is not the best watch they made in the last 5 years. But it is unique and it has 'balls'   ... and this is something I appreciate.
My budget does not allow me to order one but a friend go mine did and I'm looking forward to the day that I can try his piece smile
There is only 1 thing I would have preferred .... such a pilot watch should have been in steel and not gold. I understand Patek has a bigger margin if they make it in gold but if that was steel and for sale between 30 and 35K   .... that would be interesting
