This is an uncoupling yoke (M1165.31-1A.A)
This performs a similar function but instead of disconnecting the  the rachet wheel from the hand winding mech, this disconnects the rotor from the auto mech. 
This is because this calibre, like all modern PP movements, only wind in one direction (anti-clockwise), any movement that winds in both directions needs a reverser wheel or two. (Rolex, ETA, etc etc)
The problem with bidirectional winding is two fold. The auto tends to be thicker and the either one or two reverser wheels are quite complicated for their size and are prone to damage. The Rolex reverser wheels are, however, very good. 
This uncoupling yoke is actually two bearings, the other bearing is friction fitted to the main plate. The two are connected by a thin metal plate. The visible toothed bearing has a post underneath which is pushed towards the rotor by a carefully adjusted spring, that's why it moves back into place when the rotor teeth push it away when he rotor turns clockwise.
