Statistics have shown that most ladies prefer quartz
watches. My wife has both and wears the quartz watch 95% of the time.
I would make sure an exchange could be made in the event she prefers something different from what you select.
By the way, I don't know of too many ladies who don't have a "thing" for diamonds.
