Thank you for your kind comments! I'm glad you learned a lot!
Soon your Patek AD should be getting FHH Certification for some of their staff members.
FHH Certification is kind of a test for watch sales professionals to take. This test shows that they have a good understanding about watches; and there are three levels of certification. Watch Advisor, Watch Specialist, and Watch Expert. I would argue that every major Patek Philippe dealer should have at least one Watch Expert on the team.

Generally, it'd be extremely difficult for a new store to get a Patek Philippe franchise. Big brands like Patek Philippe and Rolex have very special criteria; 1, excellence of the management and staff; 2, excellent location; 3, excellent LOCAL clients that can support the store; 4, extreme financial stability and a high credit rating. And all of this is impossible to determine on a newer store as there's no track record. A corporate store would have the track record, but Patek Philippe isn't excited about having corporate store partners anymore. Thus, if I were Patek Philippe, I'd probably wait a couple years, see how the store performs, and then see if the store is able to demonstrate that they have that level of service. It's also hard to get a super good location, as all the big landlords approach the big corporate jewelry stores first and offer those stores the best location. Louis Vuitton is always offered any prime location in a mall since it brings shoppers to the mall, legitimizes the mall, and it brings the mall a lot of revenue (malls charge their rent as a percentage of the store's revenue, not just a monthly rental figure). A privately owned non corporate jeweler might have a hard time getting prime location.
