To my knowledge, here are the following dial variations for the 3448, divided into four series:
- First series: Enameled small baton or beady / pearl minute divisions ; hard raised enamel for all literature on the dial 1962-1966
- Second series: Beady or pearl minute divisions and small date ring ; hard raised enamel for all literature on the dial 1965 -1973
- Third series: Small printed line minute divisions (early third series might still have pearl minute divisions) and large date ring ; all literature on the dial is printed 1971 -1978
- Fourth series: Printed small baton minute divisions and also all literature on the dial is printed after 1978
The most sought after versions are the first two series by very far
Some examples of the first and extremely few of the early second series have the special PP crown that can be found on the 2526 and 2552
586 pcs would have been made:
- 0 in platinum (2 have been made several years after the discontinuation of the model and should be considered as special orders for prominent clients)
- 1 piece unique in rose gold (some say two examples would have been made but it needs to be confirmed)
- around 400 - 450 in yellow gold
- the balance in white gold
