Very well said! But let me argue....
... I agree on most of what you said, except the pusher thing, i think they are well integrated in the spirit of design of the case and the bezel.
As for the hands its a major point for me. Taken of the context they are ordinary, but in that dial they strangely seem like the right choice.
Comparing to the hands of the 5070 is hard as they feel like a drop of gold that was suddenly frozen as it was falling

Maybe the nicest hands IMO.
Now about our debate about when we have already the sweetest of all sugar ray's which is the 5070P.... What would be THE choice to pair it with ? another 5070G or the 5170G?
Well for me, no doubt (maybe because i have the 5270G) in my mind, when building a collection, the 5170G makes more sense than adding another 5070.
1st i think it look gorgeous, it has the best of both world, the vintage look with a hint to the 1436 and modern for the fantastic movement and great finishing of the case.
2nd, i like wearing all my watches without exceptions. I realized that when i had the same model with 2 different metals, 9 out of 10 times i always choose the same one to strap it on. Now that's just me
