costs a significant amount. Your question on whether the price "would continue plummeting" is one that would (and did) lead to discussions of numbers which we want to refrain from as a rule. Our community is helpful and I am glad that our member Tavio_George helpfully provided you with the specific rule on pricing. Given this is your first post and you wanted to genuinely understand more about this reference, I will let the post stay and monitor the discussions. For your better understanding l, I would suggest asking questions about the production number, timing of waitlist and difficulty of making the dials to gauge the current and future desirability of the reference instead of price trajectory.
Naturally my opinion (as a collector and not as a Patek moderator) on enamel WTs is biased because I am the forum's self-proclaimed enamel lover/slave. If you were trading pieces that you are no longer interested in for an "exit watch", it would be a no-brainer for me.

Definitely donāt buy if this in any way comes before your family. Thatās a no brainer. One should always put family waaay before a watch hobby/watch purchase.

But again you never know what the future is about. And that expensive hobby of ours can be managed in a healthy manner by taking minor precautions

Current market piece is down between 90 and 100k i would say
While it was 120k+ a few months ago. I think original rrp was 68kā¬ and it raised quite a bit to 94kā¬ for the new 5231g

Watches get damaged, stolen, lost etc. If you're worried about a watch losing value, I would submit that it is indeed an investment.
