Interestingly when I ordered the strap for the J I thought it would be a darker blue just like the one on the G. At first I was disappointed, but only until I put it on the J. Then I was extremely happy.

Mike, the strap on the J is called shiny royal blue. The strap on the G I ordered sometime ago. I think it also might've been royal blue. Please note that the color you order and receive may not not be exactly as it is in the book and yes the straps I ord...

.....whenever I look at a specific strap, that specific colour seems to become quite dominant within the enamel of that specific watch. I have to say, I would have great difficulty picking which of these combinations I like the most. You have posted these...

Particularly with a white metal case, but in addition to black, there is black with white stitch (which Patek supplied with many 5070Gs) and a light champagne (often favored by Italian and other collectors). With a rose case a reddish brown can work well....
