Got the opportunity to check all the details.
The dial is very nice with the applied chronograph counter,The strap as well is matching the watch as if it's meant to be.BUT I have to add that the slot between the lugs will not be hidden by any kind of strap 100%,What Kari have done is the best that someone can get out from fitting a strap on this watch in my opinion.
The P is something else,The grey dial actually was the first watch to get me interested in Patek since 2009 when I was visiting a dealer in London that sells both Rolex and Patek.
I will probably get my 5712 very soon,And thought about adding the SS version of the 5960(Both combined equal exactly the price of the 5905P that I was reserving),And believe that both watches will give me more pleasure than the 5905P.
Again too much watches that I like,But I have to set priorities ...tough choices

i am being picky.....
.....the WB on the virtu is much colder....more blue. That is altering the feel of the shot. The Virtu has the verdict on clarity, but its not by a million miles. I also think that the autofocus on the iPhone can be tricky. Sometimes it just gets it wrong...

I've been trying to figure out
how you got such a clear and close-up shot with your iPhone 5. Did you shoot and then crop? Took a few shots with mine and it's not nearly as good as your shot. Any suggestions? Aloha, Bob
Tough call. In the end a credit to both phone cameras.
They sure have come a long way. But we can all agree the watch looks spectacular in both shots. It is a real beauty.

I would suggest there is probably little to choose, taken in good light and viewed in this sort of forum view they will look great.
The trick is that

I used to love my Vertu... and then they switched to Android. So it comes down to which OS and hardware you like better. The photos to me are very very close. Besides, the upcoming iPhone might be much better.

The iPhone shot is out of focus, it's point of focus appears to be the left lug, and the dial itself is marginally out of focus. The Vertu is taken from a greater distance and is in focus so appears to be a better shot - but that's it it's a better shot, ...

What image sensor is in the Vertu?
As I am sure you know megapixels are nearly irrelevant now. iPhone 6 has an older image sensor but the 6s and SE have amazing ones. Vertu I believe is less than the 6 but I don\'t recall for sure. But you took a good picture irrespective!

How easy/difficult was it to replace the stainless steel bracelet with the leather band? Is that a Patek leather band? Thanks.
The strap was made by CF, same company delivering straps to PP
Replacing was semi-difficult but any Patek AD can help you with removing the bracelet. The trick is to order the right type of strap. Best, Kari

that you should know there is a groove in the case part between the lugs that will show up after the bracelet is removed. Thus you'll have to adapt the strap if you don't want to see it. Something you have to check whether it is ok or not for you. Cheers,...
