Yes, the window is a bit “raw” and,

I know that for the LUC Quattro Spirit 25, KF Scheufele specifically requested that the hour window be placed at 6 o'clock for this reason.

I have to say I'd take the 3979HP-001 - in part because it is a nice tribute to Breguet style language but also because it's a minute repeater and I don't have (ergo, need) one of them and I'm sure it sounds great.
I like 3979 a lot too, but would choose
the regular Roman numerals dial. The less sophistication or refinement the better for me here. Best, Emmanuel
