Yes very true.
As I have said many times here before as I have always let my eyes make my decisions for me it is a lot easier for me as if my heart and eyes love the watch then there is no doubt. I am pleased to say I have never regretted not buying a watch only ever regretted selling them.
So I guess with the watches I've owned I've been very lucky to have no purchase regrets.

Sounds like a winning formula. Also, IMHO making a mistake by passing on a watch is not nearly as bad as buying something that is a mistake.
Buy a mistake and you're stuck with it. Making a mistake by not buying something merely means you are cash ready for the next opportunity that might be even better than the watch passed.
