Your 3969R is a lovely watch!
And I would have bought the one in Frankfurt if not for the scratch. The 3969R is quite different of course from the 3878J skeleton The latter is a work of art with arguably more hand finishing while the 3969R is a unique and elegant jump hour. Where the 3878J has the 240 automatic movement, the 3969R spots a 215 movement with a jump hour module. I was in Paris today to pay for my incoming tank cintree in platinum and Nathalie who sold me the watch remarked that the 3878 would have possibly looked more attractive in white gold because yellow gold was perhaps a bit too much and less discreet. I tend to agree with her but I guess in the 80s and 90s, yellow gold was very much in fashion and white metal became more popular at the turn of the century. Nice cufflinks too by the way. A 10% loss on a watch is extremely good Alkiro even on a used model. I have been so accustomed to losing 75 to 80% on my new watches for 20 years before discovering Patek!!

41mm version. The 47mm version came with the 16.29 movement (used in the current 1858 chronos) whereas the 41mm version used the smaller 13.29 movement
