My thinking: Yes for the nautilus, possibly yes for the pilot (even though somehow the color combination works less well for me) and rather not for the calatrava and worldtime chrono. And to precise my thoughts, it just a guts reaction based on looks and ... 

I think I fully agree with you, even if I can feel deep inside me that I tend to be more univocally hostile to the Denim strap. But, as you say, for the Nautilus and maybe the Pilot, why not? Best, Emmanuel

It always looks cheap (even if it's not).

Denim straps take away from just about any watch and none of the above combinations look right to me. I would rather see Nubuck or Suede or even Sailcloth.

Deep inside me, I feel the same way. But then I ask myself if I'm not being too conservative and narrow-minded: as Jerome says just above, for the Nautilus and maybe the Pilot, why not? But I know it's not for me, personally. Best, Emmanuel

For me, looks good on the Nautilus and the World Time. The other two, not crazy about. I think the texture in the center of the dial on the WT helps a lot and the Nautilus the color of the dial.

And even Calatrava becomes more easily wearable sort of everyday watch, rather than a dress watch for rare dressed up events. A picture of mine attached. Even if this combo is not ideal it allows to enjoy the watch more often and thus works well for me. ...  

It works well and I fully understand how it makes the 5100 more easy to wear on a daily basis. Tbh, my conservative taste is taken out of its comfort zone with Denim straps, but I try hard not to be narrow-minded! ;-) Cheers, Emmanuel

For me it is another example of a difference between theory and practice. In theory it is not the right combination, but in practice- it is. 😃

And I know we should never forget that judging from photos or in theory has little to do with real life!

The only one that does not look particularly harmonious to me is the Nautilus version. The 5330 is like best 👌🏻

not trying to look cool at all cost, here I have a hard time feeling fully convinced, whatever the reference. I feel a bit guilty to be so conservative and closed-minded, but I really get the impression that Patek Philippe is trying to appeal to a younger... 

As said, I also do not find all fully gel. And I am conservative in the sense that jeans for me is only trouser material - would never wear a jeans shirt or jacket, so the strap would not be my preferred choice anyhow 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

Another one is that men should wear long trousers to work, unless it’s a beach bar 😁🤷🏻‍♂️

I tried it several times but it just doesn't work with that strap and doesn't do justice to the beautiful dial. So I turned it down - luckily, because a few weeks later he offered me the 5164G which is a much better combo in the same layout of colors. You...

denim isn’t at all for this watch. The 5370 is a gem and deserves a less desecrating strap.

Glad I didn’t throw it out so I could share how (bad) it looks on this reference. Current favorite dress down/casual is light grey taurillon with cream stitch. ...
