My window, the ongoing theme...
I am doing a series of photos from "my window", kind of a play on "Rear Window" (1954 film directed by Alfred Hitchcock based on Cornell Woolrich's 1942 short story) or "Smoke" (1995 independent film directed by Wayne Wang & Paul Auster that featured Harvey Keitel).
Having done pre-sunrise, here are some post-sunset images (taken around 6:00 PM on a weekday)

That 190CX is a nice tripod and it looks similar to the Gitzo 1 series I've got, albeit with newer technology in it. It's remarkable how sturdy the Gitzo is for the length it packs down into. Still keen to see some HDR cityscapes from you.
Thank you Feage...

Are you located in Japan? May I ask what prefecture / area? Yes, the view was one of the factors when selecting this place... not much chance of major construction blocking the view in the future... I enjoy the morning sun and night views. Casey
