Thanks Avatar... I have two main tripods...

 

a SLIK Grand Master II, which is a very sturdy (and a little heavy) aluminum tripod with a three way head.  The carrying case is 0.75 meters long... the three way head is very convenient when using a medium format camera... in my case the image is reversed on the ground glass and the 3-Way head just makes it easy to compose...

the other tripod is a Manfrotto 190CX Q-90-4S with the 486 ball head.  When folded it's 54cm long and it gets the most use when shooting 35mm film/digital... very light and actually fits in a large suitcase when traveling.

The Mamiya RB67 sits on the SLIK next to the balcony window wink

The photos from this series were hand held but resting on the balcony railing...  most of my night photos are made using a tripod or support of some kind...
