Thanks for the mini-report. Always good to have other viewpoints on the watches.
Just a note of interest: Young Sarpaneva cut his teeth (literally) with Piaget being his first employer. Hence, his early plays with Piaget 9P movements in stuff like Time Tramp.
In the small world of horology design, chickens and eggs are almost seminal for each other.........

The Polo 45 reminded me of VC, not Sarapeneva
It reminded me of the QDL! But either way, I like it, myself. I like the Sarapeneva too. And I like the QDL best of the 'see through' dials.

The Gem-set Skeleton Altiplano is smashing! I have to disagree about the Polo FortyFive Chrono, which I think is WAY better in this iteration versus the prior one, but to each his/her own! I really enjoyed reading your post! Cheers, Daos
