I feel that honesty is important in these reports. I was highly (and genuinely) complimentary about most of the Piaget watches I presented here. Readers will know that those are my real feelings about those pieces, as it's clear that I pull no punches on the ones I don't like.
Forum participants are also welcome to express their dissenting view, and I don't mind a gentle flame or two if anything I write is particularly off-target. It makes for a much more lively and interesting Purist experience than endless sycophancy. Keeps the brands on their toes too!
For the record, several of Piaget's 2010 releases really did take my breath away.

I always enjoy writing these reports. I enjoy taking the photos too, and I especially enjoy cadging the free meals and booze at SIHH. Yes, the Altiplano Gem-Set Skeleton really is a special piece, and highly representative of Piaget's twin personalities. ...
