Yes, the Altiplano Gem-Set Skeleton really is a special piece, and highly representative of Piaget's twin personalities. The "regular" view is of elegant, high-end bling. Then turn it over, and you discover an amazing display of horological mastery.

The Polo 45 reminded me of VC, not Sarapeneva
It reminded me of the QDL! But either way, I like it, myself. I like the Sarapeneva too. And I like the QDL best of the 'see through' dials.

The Gem-set Skeleton Altiplano is smashing! I have to disagree about the Polo FortyFive Chrono, which I think is WAY better in this iteration versus the prior one, but to each his/her own! I really enjoyed reading your post! Cheers, Daos
