In May of 2007 in my first post I asked for help in selecting a first fine timepiece. You told me then how Mrs. MTF felt about the Piaget ultra thin - I just assumed she already had it in her possession. As they say in my culture, wear it in good health!!!

Dear Moderator, it seems that calibre 1208P
automatic calibre for the new Altiplano is the thinnest automatic movement available with 5.25mm. The total diameter of the watch is 43mm and the case back have a sapphire to see through. Hope to see it in the metal. Cheers, patrickh
