i'm currently hunting for a new RM but i'm a bit torn over these 3 candidates which i love all equaly RM004 (my ultimate chrono watch) and considered a grail for some long time RM002 what can i say about it simply beatiful BUT the only flow (to me ofcours... 

I owned a RM002 V2 in WG. It was a very nice watch - and I thought my ultimate watch - but I sold it because I just did not have the passion for it. In my opinion, it was too small - and yes it was smaller than the RM10 - I think it uses the RM05 case. In... 

Interesting dilema...save up and buy one of each if I were you! I currently own an RM002 & an RM004. I love both those watches equally, and make the following observations:- Firstly I dont really think that the smaller size of the 2 is a problem...in fact...

'banal' is stretching the term a little too far. The RM002 (and the RM001 before it) were show stoppers when they first appeared, and it might be the case that we have become all too accustomed to the design and layout to think of it in ordinary terms. Ho... 

Truth is: I generally much prefer tourbillons over chronos. Truth is: I have contemplated purchasing a RM002 several times. Truth is: The RM002 is a superb watch. I guess my primary point is that I prefer other tourbillons over the RM002, and the RM004 is...

If you're considering a RM004, here's one more thing to keep in mind. Right now, you can get one in mint condition for around the price of a RM011 new! The RM011 is really hot right now. But, it is a regular chronograph, which is a simple watch in compari...

I didn't realize that. So, the chrono module for the RM010 was designed from scratch? I know that the RM010's movement came from another movement from Vaucher, but with lots of work, and thought the chrono was from another movement too. Did Vaucher design... 

the chrono module was developed with Dubois Dépraz who are the same firm who manufacture the module for the AP Royal Oak Offshore. They produce the best chrono modules in the business. Andrew H

i guess the general view is leaning towards the 004 which i totaly agree with the the points raised are spott on and i do think that the 004 is in fact the true essence of RM watches and truely embodies the concept of a racing machine on the wrist more so...

I did worry about the movement being altered when I sent the watch in for service, but it seems they were able to adjust the existing movement so it works quite reliably right now. I think they will never be able to upgrade mine to a full V2 since the who...
