Thankyou for your Rolex story and great photos.
That 5513 for sure has charm and charisma.
I still remember my first Roles, a Pepsi GMT that I for a long time used to wear under my sleeves and jackets and not really show. Until one day, when the boss of my boss saw it (he had the same) and looked funny on me. Than I actually decided not to wear it so much (at least not at work). But somehow the Rolex watches (mainly new ones) have grown on me over the years. This despite the fact that there are many fakes out there.
But I agree more and more with you guys on the forum, the vintages have something more than a new watch. Has the charm, the history, the life, the patina.
