Rolex

I do not like them, Sam-I-am. I do not like green eggs and ham ... Have you ever had a green eggs and ham moment? Well this is mine. I admit I have been a little dismissive of Rolex in the past. I realised they had some great ‘tool watches’, well designed...

Thanks for your kind words, Tom. It seems that there are more than a few of us that struggle with brand perceptions surrounding Rolex. I still remember feeling a little uncomfortable the first day I wore this 5513 to work. No one commented, but I noticed ...

Your 5513 has a lot of charm, with the " burnt Vanillia Cream " indexes. The patina of the hands and indexes is impressively matching, and gives a lot of soul to the watch, without speaking of this super sexy domed plexy, which is simply spectacular. Now,...

That 5513 is superb. It looks fantastic and has true personality. So what is next?

... a collector as you. Next would be a 1675 GMT, somewhere from the early 1960's. But the patina has to be right. I'm hoping that if I don't look too hard the right one will fall into my hands! LOL Fate I guess! Perhaps one day. Andrew
