Since it has been a long time we didn't speak of this watch, and that I didn't wear it... The good thing with these modern Rolexes is that you have an immediate perception of their quality. Put one on your wrist, you will feel what I mean. As for the Yach...

Up until a year ago I never much liked the YM because of the illfitting bracelet endpieces and the lack of color on the dial. However, I have some nice pics of the pt YM in sunlight which I could not really forget. When the refreshed YM arrived last year ...  

Super comfortable, yes. Let's see who, between you and me, will get the blue dial first. I still have to get a confirmation in the real world, but I like it a lot. As for the GMT 16760, I am on the hunt for a nice Fat Lady, too... Too many watch es on the... 

I bought a nice, early "No DATE" 16760 GMT! Be sure to look for the first year of production (1983-4) with this "no DATE" dial. And, the correct fat-font serif Coke insert. As much as I liked the monochromatic look of the YM and other features, the GMT is... 

As a big GMT Fan I am, I can easily understand you. The Fat Lady is another nice and inrteresting GMT. I envy you. All the best, Ken. Nicolas.

I think it is quite special in that it "anticipated" some later Rolex design cues well before it's time. Also, as you say, the weight, interesting combination of materials and very comfortable fit. In fact, I just sold my second one last month. Why? I don... 

The YM is one of these watches you full appreciate once it is gone... At least, that is what happened to me, but I am pretty confident in the fact that I am not alone in this case. Best, Nicolas
