Just a dressy sports watch with a punch , love it more on the oyster bracelet actually. That red seconds hand against the black dial is what catches my eye always... ...

It looks more substantial than I would have expected! Such a handsome watch.

The colour, the bezel (that I like the fact is bidirectional), etc. I remember when buying mine probably 20 years back, the sales rep told me "this is not for diving, it's for timing pasta" - true And for me the 36mm size is great - My wife borrowed this ...  

I have always loved this watch and the magical feeling of the "floating" bezel. Yes, handy for pasta and waiting rooms as well!

Indeed its a divisive model, dress or sports, daily wear or special days...but at 36mm, its beautifully proportioned and with an oyster bracelet that truly is a marvel for comfort. I suspect the jubilee on this model would be too blingy for my taste, and ... 

but I don’t find the jubilee as dressier. The smaller links seem to hide daily wear better than the oyster polished center links. I just swapped the oyster back onto my Skydweller from the jubilee and I love having the choice, but I’m torn on a preference...  

Just wish the 2 tone oyster on mine had the gold centre links brushed
