... to say that I have no chance of getting a Rolex "Tool watch" from my birth year, as the first one was the Turn O Graph, as you well say, but the first one, reference 6202, was born in 1953/54.
An early reference 4467 Date Just from 1948 is an interesting possibility but it is a very, very rare reference to come by.
May be I can get a nice Bubbleback from my 1948 birth year. An interesting type indeed. I got a few, from the 1940´s, but no one exactly made in 1948.
Regarding the Italian lady, I had no chance to talk watches with her, as she was very bussy assisting tourists. She surprised me being the first lady I view wearing an interesting vintage. I would have liked to ask her if she was a collector or she just inherited that watch.

With my 40th approaching fast, I was determined to find something to celebrate. With nothing modern really catching my eye, I looked for something vintage, main criteria was to find something from 1972. Then a stroke of luck (or maybe by luck it found me)...
