I never had the chance to try the older
reference 1165 on my wrist but I suppose it wears heavier. My 1265 has a sapphire case back and so less platinum.
It’s not the first platinum watch I own. Therefore I am used to it and not too surprised.
And a friend of mine who owns the 1165 also confirms that after a few hours he didn’t feel the weight anymore.
