Especially paired well with jacket and shirt! For me, the Sub has to be steel. BUT if you are looking for a sporty WG watch , look no further !

A 1x/ weekly or 1-2x/month wear for me. Agree with the comment here that the best aspects are the stealth + weight together. And of course the build quality is really impressive every time you put it on.

Yes, I did some research too and for sure an under retail watch on the secondary market....and available...always good to have options!

I had the Smurf with “had” being the defining word 😁. I personally prefer this one. It flies under the radar as well. ...

And having a heavy watch on the wrist is satisfying to the wearer IMO. People who aren't in "the know" think it's just a steel watch. AFAIK, the no-date subs are only in SS, I believe. In the real world, it seems that these WG models are priced best on th... 

The weight would be an immediate killer criterium. But of that doesn’t bother you, go for it! Might be a bit of a conceptual challenge - being a good tool watch - but then again let’s not pretend that most are still used as tool watches, so al...

You mention your concern about end of day comfort. For myself (and unlike other precious metal or even some steel watches), I am perfectly at ease wearing this all day. Not sure you can be sure unless you buy it unfortunately!

Both the problem about the weight and the price could be easily circumvented keeping most of the watch appearence. A word to the wise! Beautiful watch, by the way!

Do you want this one specifically? If so and if it makes sense financially, go for it. I see what you mean with your scarcity commentary, I’m no Rolex expert but a gold watch probably is scarcer then it’s steel counterparts, makes sense.

But that MSRP is a tough pill to swallow! Personally, I prefer steel. In fact, I’m still waiting for a FF in steel! Good luck with your decision! Keep us posted!��
