I prefer to call it the green dial Daytona.
John Mayer has a history of being so thirsty to have a watch named after him all-a Paul Newman whose Daytonas are affectionately named after. That being said one cannot deny the John Mayer had a major influence on the second hand prices of the watch. All it took was a spark from someone well known for the lemmings to jump off the bridge. I always felt it was always a rare watch. I remember when i was offered my white dial ceramic daytona you couldn’t get the green dial it was rare back then. It’s a lovely watch that deserves the accolades it gets.
